The Allen County Genealogical Society and The Genealogy Center join in proudly presenting this special day for genealogists. The Legal Genealogist Judy G. Russell is a genealogist with a law degree who writes and lectures on topics ranging from using court records in family history to understanding DNA testing. On the faculty of numerous genealogy institutes, she is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Board for Certification of Genealogists®, from which she holds credentials as a Certified Genealogist® and Certified Genealogical Lecturer℠. 

Lectures include:
“An Act for the Relief of Gregory Thomas and Others—The Private Laws of the Federal and State Governments”
“No Person Shall … Gallop Horses in the Streets--Using Court Records to tell the Story of our Ancestors’ Lives”
“When Worlds Collide: Resolving Conflicts in Genealogical Records”
